Ternjistan Eco Lodge is an ancient house in Shiraz with a history of over 150 years dating back to the late Qajar and early Pahlavi eras. This lodge, with an area of 250 square meters, was renovated and reopened for operation in August 2018. It consists of three floors: basement, ground floor, and first floor, housing a total of 7 accommodation units with separate bathrooms. One of the rooms, known as the "Panj Dari" or kings room, is designed for winter days. The architecture of this part of the building maximizes sunlight exposure in winter, resulting in warmer room temperatures. Two basements are located below the kings room, likely intended for use as a kitchen or storage cellar. Another section of the building showcases the three-door room or summer room, designed to minimize sunlight exposure, providing cooler accommodations. A relatively large basement beneath the three-door room serves as a cellar for storing food and winter provisions. Ternjistan Eco Lodge is situated on Lotf Ali Khan Zand Street in the historic district, offering easy access to Narenjestan Ghavam, Zinat al-Molk House, the beautiful and famous Nasir al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque), Nasir al-Molk House, Zinat al-Molk School, Zandiyeh Complex including Vakil Bazaar, Vakil Bath, Karim Khan Citadel, and Pars Museum.
