Traditionally, after bathing in public baths, people were offered drinks like sour barberry. This drink was not served in the main bathing area (sauna) but in a place where the temperature had dropped (dressing area). Different people would choose specific drinks according to their temperament. Some preferred yoghurt, some barberry juice, and some enjoyed sweet syrup with honey and jujube liquor, accompanied by placed flowers. For example, those with warm temperaments would choose lily flowers.
In Daruosh Traditional Bathhouse, experience the unique and authentic Iranian bathing ritual with traditional ceremonies. The Daruosh bathhouse has areas for footwear removal, the main bath with a platform, a water tap, and a small cold water pool where you can spend hours pampering your body and soul, just like in the past. Besides bathing and traditional scrub massage by a masseur, you can indulge in the herbal beverages and hot and cold drinks from Sharbat House. Additionally, the traditional bathhouse offers various massages such as relaxation massage and hot stone massage.
