Iran Mehr Traditional Hotel with its ancient structure and museum-like appearance is one of the historical buildings remaining from the Qajar dynasty that ruled over Iran for about 133 years (1174-1304). The history of this building dates back to around 225 years ago, in the mid of this period. The residents of this building were descendants of Farzaneh Dolatshahi Shirazi, who was a prominent Iranian poet, sage, and scholar. One of the notable features of the hotel is its location in the heart of the historical district of Shiraz and its proximity to the city center, Zandieh Complex, Moshir Complex, Karim Khan Citadel, and other attractive historical sites.
